SCHEDULE for INTRODUCTORY RADIOGRAPHIC TECHNIQUE

The days of the week and hours of the day are always the same. The specific dates of the class are listed here.

Times:

The 48-hour IntroRad seminar is held over three weekends:

Session I - 20 hours

Friday        9:00 - 12:00     1:30 - 6:00

Saturday    9:00 - 12:00     1:00 - 5:00

Sunday      8:30 - 1:30

Session II - 16 hours

Saturday    9:00 - 12:00     1:00 - 6:00

Sunday      8:00 - 12:00     1:00 - 5:00

Session III - 12 hours

Saturday    9:00 - 12:00     1:00 - 6:00

Sunday      8:30 - 12:30

Followed by exam

Chiropractic x-ray techs must attend all 48 hours and earn a passing grade on the exam.

Medical x-ray techs are not required to take the exam but are welcome to do so.

introduction to spine positioning

projects to accomplish before 2nd class

SESSION II
Saturday 9:00 to 6:00 Sunday 8:00 TO 5:00	review of all material covered in first session radiation dose guidelines for preparation of an exposure technique chart patient positioning quality critique visualization of "duds" to see what went wrong projects to accomplish before 3rd class

SESSION III
Saturday 9:00 to 6:00 Sunday 8:30 to 12:30 12:45 - prox 1:30 for exam	patient positioning quality critique; visualization of "duds" to see what went wrong patient management (procedures, common questions, etc.) brief overview of alternate imaging procedures exam review
