The 48-hour IntroRad seminar is held over three weekends. The days of the week and hours of the day are always the same.

Session I - 20 hours
Friday 9:00 - 12:00 1:30 - 6:00
Saturday 9:00 - 12:00 1:00 - 5:00
Sunday 8:30 - 1:30
Session II - 16 hours
Saturday 9:00 - 12:00 1:00 - 6:00
Sunday 8:00 - 12:00 1:00 - 5:00
Session III - 12 hours
Saturday 9:00 - 12:00 1:00 - 6:00
Sunday 8:30 - 12:30
Followed by exam
Chiropractic x-ray techs must attend all 48 hours and earn a passing grade on the exam.
Medical x-ray techs are not required to take the exam but are welcome to do so.

- radiation safety: exposure levels, patient and operator safety, site planning, inspection
- preparing an exposure technique chart
- quality critique
- projects to accomplish before 3rd class

- patient positioning: extremities
- patient positioning: spine
- patient management (procedures, common questions, etc.)
